Jabrial Steed

Know Your Worth, LLC is pleased to announce our 2020 Know Your Worth Scholarship recipient Jabrial Steed. Jabrial is a senior at Vance County Early College High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, BETA Club, and Vance Granville Community College Student Government Association. She has been on the academic honor roll and is a member of the Early College Leader of the Pack program. She also serves a a member of the Viper cheerleading squad at Vance County High School.

 

Jabrial will complete the Early College program in four years instead of the recommended five and will graduate with a high school diploma and an associate of arts degree from Vance Granville Community College.

 

Jabrial is an active member of Ashley Grove Baptist Church, where she serves as an usher and member of the choir. She interned and was hired by the Dabney Animal Hospital before the COVID-19 stay at home order.

 

Jabrial was accepted to 15 universities, most of which offered scholarships. With many options to choose from, she picked North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and will start her studies there in the fall, majoring in Animal Science.

Jabrial is the daughter of Mr. Norris and Mrs. Deanna Steed and the sister of Miss Jakara Steed.
