A gang member is known for causing significant distress in neighborhoods or communities. It may seem like he or she has the respect of those they attempt to intimidate, but even in the midst of such a turmoiled lifestyle, God can bring about a change. You may say, "I live in a rough neighborhood, my parents are never around, I don't know where my next meal is coming from, and this lifestyle provides a "quick fix." Unfortunately, a "quick fix" is all that it is, and is often accompanied by extreme tragedies. How many of your family members have lost their lives for a "quick fix?" Redemption comes in when you say to God I am tired of living this way. I am going to lay down this sinful life and accept the life Christ purchased for me with his blood.
